Hi Corby,

Haven't really been on your blog before. A couple things come to mind reading this post. There is an interesting dual-imperative taking place in Luke 10:2-3, "Then He said to them, 'The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves.'"

He says pray then go. I personally have been extremely encouraged in the labor of prayer in going forward with the Gospel. I must be on me knees first and on my knees often. Then I go trusting God to bear fruit in His time.

Here are a couple verses that have encouraged me in this area over the years.

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

Be strong in the grace and fight the good fight bro!

Hi Corby,

Haven’t really been on your blog before. A couple things come to mind reading this post. There is an interesting dual-imperative taking place in Luke 10:2-3, “Then He said to them, ‘The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves.’”
