		<description>Great post!  We, Christians, need to be more like the Bereans.  We need to daily read and study God&#039;s Word.  If we are so familiar with God&#039;s truth, we will be able to detect lies/false teaching immediately.</description>

		<description>If you look at 1 John 2 and 1 John 4 I think you see that John&#039;s point in talking about false teachers is to teach people how to know what is wrong, not who is wrong.  I would love to just post a list of &quot;Top 25 Teachers to Avoid&quot;, but how does that help when new teachers arrive?  &quot;Test the spirits&quot; is something all believers are called to do when selecting what will influence them.  Great encouragement Corby.</description>
